Specialises in supporting Men
Fred brings a wealth of life experience, having navigated homelessness and life on the streets, which profoundly influences his approach to counselling.
His journey has uniquely equipped him to empathise with and support clients facing a wide array of challenges.
In his counselling practice, Fred assists individuals dealing with addiction, depression, anxiety, grief, loss, and the increasingly prevalent issue of social media anxiety.
His support extends beyond these areas, encompassing a holistic approach to mental and emotional well-being.
Certified in Mindfulness, addiction counselling, and grief counselling, Feed approaches his work from a non-judgmental perspective, prioritising your therapeutic journey and helping you achieve your goals in a supportive and empowering manner.
His commitment to creating a safe and compassionate space ensures that clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
Favourite TV Show:
Outback Truckers! I love outback Australia.
Do you have any pets?:
We don’t have any pets but there is lots of native wildlife in our area that we absolutly love.
Favourite Quote:
“Be Kind To yourself and others.”
Favourite counselling modality?:
My favourite counselling modality is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), especially the Hexaflex Model. It’s an effective framework focusing on values, mindfulness, and psychological flexibility. ACT helps clients connect with their core values, stay present through mindfulness, and develop flexibility to navigate challenges and embrace healthier behaviours. I value how it goes beyond symptom management, empowering clients to lead meaningful, fulfilling lives.

“Mental health problems don’t define who you are. They are something you experience. You walk in the rain and you feel the rain, but you are not the rain.”
