Hi, I’m Cayetana, I am here to walk alongside you when you feel stuck, lost or simply trying to survive the daily grind. I understand the challenges and complexities of navigating life’s difficulties which is why I believe everyone deserves to feel supported during challenging times.
If you’re struggling with school, uni, work, anxiety, navigating a difficult relationship, or have low self-esteem, or exploring relationships and sexuality I’m here to offer a safe and compassionate space to explore your experiences.
My own journey with mental health, impacted by early childhood trauma, has deeply influenced my approach to counselling. This lived experience perspective allows me to connect at a deeper level of understanding. My goal is not to impose my experiences on you, but rather to use them to create a sense of understanding empathy, allowing you to feel comfortable expressing yourself freely.
Favourite TV Show:
I’m a bit of a crime buff and enjoy getting drawn into a compelling mystery or true-crime story. I’m also a big fan of good Asian horror, particularly films that build atmosphere, suspense and a genuine sense of unease.
Do you have any pets?:
Yes, the lovely Border Collie in my photo is my best mate, Kai. He is a very special part of my life and is never far from my side.
Favourite Quote:
“I would like to be known as an intelligent woman, a courageous woman, a loving woman, a woman who teaches by being.” – Maya Angelou
Favourite counselling modality?:
My therapeutic approach draws on both humanistic and pluralistic principles. At the heart of my work is the belief that every person has their own experiences, strengths, values and capacity for growth.
I understand that no single counselling approach will suit everyone. Rather than expecting you to fit into a particular method, I adapt the way we work together to reflect your individual needs, perspectives and goals. This may involve exploring your experiences, developing greater self-awareness, identifying practical strategies or simply creating space for you to feel heard and understood.
Our work is collaborative, respectful and guided by what feels meaningful and helpful to you. My aim is to provide a compassionate and non-judgemental environment where you can explore challenges at your own pace, build confidence and move towards the changes you would like to see in your life.

“Mental health problems don’t define who you are. They are something you experience. You walk in the rain and you feel the rain, but you are not the rain.”
